Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science 

The Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has led the development of the ‘Consent Framework’ (2019), a leading example of systems-based sectoral development on consent, sexual violence and harassment in higher education.


Lifes2Good Foundation

Lifes2good Foundation is a Galway-based registered charity. Founded in 2017, L2GF’s primary focus, for the first five years of its existence, is on women and children in situations of vulnerability. In the next strategic plan (2023 – 2027) there will be a pivot towards supporting more programmes focused on environmental issues, as well as continuing to support the best educative work that the foundation has been doing. The foundation supports preventative as well as remedial strategies. The charity subscribes to a multifaceted approach and supports projects, programmes, and initiatives that focus on attitudinal and behavioural change.


Rethink Ireland

Rethink Ireland is a non-profit organisation that provides grants, supports and other development resources to charities and social enterprises that make a difference in Irish society. Active* Consent is an awardee of Rethink Ireland’s Arts to Impact fund, which has supported initiatives that use the arts and culture as a means to create positive social impact in Ireland.


University of Galway

Founded in 1845, University of Galway is ranked among the top 300 universities in the world, according to Times Higher Education and QS World University rankings. It has supported the development of the Active* Consent programme as part of its commitment to values of respect and openness.
